LOST JOBS ARE NOT COMING BACK

or

THAT IS WHAT THE INDUSTRIES WANTED

The US economy seems to be stabilizing at the levels that are presently left. But jobs have not come back and do not seem to be coming back.

That is exactly the way the industries wanted it and how they played it.

Industries are opportunistic. They are not interested in where they make their products. They are just interested in the best deal they can get to have their products made. Currently that is not in the US in the places where the people who lost their jobs were making products. What the US industries accomplished was to be able to get rid of the more expensive jobs that kept our prices for their products higher than those of the rest of the world. Those jobs have been either moved to other countries or simply eliminated as not cost effective. And the industries have absolutely no economic reason at all to bring them back.

It is, therefore, highly unlikely that lost jobs, ostensibly due to the recession, will be replaced.
